Solution To Problematics
Issue
-
Giving the feeling of playing as a frog
-
Create a wholesome cute game
-
Fun platforming
Solution
-
To make players feel like they're playing as a frog, we modified how basic movement would work, instead of having a linear progression, we wanted players to feel like doing small jumps when moving. We also created abilities unique to frogs (stick out your tongue, throw water etc.).
-
To create a cute and wholesome game, we really focused on how to make the game non frustrating on every aspects. Most of the game is easy and there is no danger or fear in the game world, we also added cute hats and customization to the frog.
-
To make platforming fun and non frustrating, we worked a lot on the 3Cs to make them most accessible for our target and we made sure every progression aspects and abilities in the game are focused on either making the platforming easier or making the game cute.
